Mark Skull Pirate Radio: Submit Your Band

So, your in a band and your begging for airplay? You've and your band mates just busted your ass in the studio and on the road, playing your guts out, and the only people there are your friends, family, and maybe a few bar rats? DO YOU WANT MORE? NOW YOU CAN GET IT! I ain' t offering a magic pill, here!

YOU CAN NOW GET AIRPLAY ON MARK SKULL PIRATE RADIO!

Yes, we WILL play your band! You'll go right into regular rotation on MSPR and maybe even get enough votes and popularity to be in the Top 12 from Hell!

The catch and the rules:

1. YOUR BAND MUST NOT SUCK! That has, and always will be, rule #1 of my station. If it sucks, it doesn't go on. Period. I don't care if your my best friend, if it sucks, don't expect to hear back!

2. SEND ME YOUR MYSPACE PAGE! MySpace pages allow everyone to listen to your music without having to download MP3's. Awesome, and it makes my job a lot easier!

3. DO SEND ME MP3 FILES! Send me an MP3 file of your group, or two, or even 3. Send a brief bio of your band if you wish, and tell me what style of music I'm about to hear. Compare yourself to bands. If you present yourself as a group of people who not only want airplay but are serious about getting ahead with your music, then even if I don't like it, I may still play it.

And now, the devil in the details! If your added, you will get an e-mail from me saying how much I enjoyed it and have added it to the station. It stays until I don't want it to anymore or if it tanks, and that's up to me. I will tell you if it's less than a week and it has to go. But I ask that since I am promoting your band that you please promote this radio station. So in return, we ask that the station is added to your MySpace Friends List, and we will do the same for you, add us to your official site, or at least something. We will also add us to the list of bands we play once we get a copy of your logo.
