Mark Skull Pirate Radio has gone on to become the Highest-Ranked Extreme Metal Radio Station on the Internet, playing the latest from groups such as Megadeth, Lamb of God, Overkill, Mastodon, Slayer, Strapping Young Lad, and many more! The station owes it success largely to always being open to new ideas, playing great music, and it's charismatic host, Mark Skull. The station is always on, dominating the airwaves with the greatest metal songs possible!

The station as created from a love for all things metal, and a passion to create the greatest metal station possible. Playing the guitar and going to concerts wasn't enough to Mark Skull, he had to bring metal to the masses! The station was launched on June 3rd, 2005 at about 1PM EST. Intended initally as an outlet for the creativity of it's creator, Mark Skull, the station also was launched so that a real metal radio station, the kind he always dreamed about, could be created and launched to the yearning masses of metal heads. A burning desire to show those into Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax the greatness of a newer generation of metal had to offer.
